Technical Requirements for
Jean-Jacques Perrey (and one other musician) CONCERT:

CONCERT REQUIREMENTS:

BACKSTAGE:

A room with a mirror and at least four chairs.
4 chilled Diet Cokes, bottled water, and towels.

 

ONSTAGE:

2 microphones
2 mic stands with booms
2 small tables, approx. 3 feet high (TV trays are okay.)
1 small CD player
2 desk chairs (NOT bar stools)
1 flashlight

4 synthesizers:
2 Minimoogs or Korg MS-2000's
2 polyphonic synth of any kind, 48 key-minimum
(example: Yamaha DX-7, Nord lead)
Keyboard stands for all keyboards

Raised stage, no smaller than 8 X 15 feet and 2 feet tall.
Steps, with hand rail, to get JJ on and off stage.
Two floor monitors on stage.

Adequate sound system and sound engineer.
Sound man MUST also have a CD player offstage, to cue music with.

Lighting system and technician to run lighting cues.

Jean-Jacques will always have an assistant
(that we provide) onstage with him for lectures.

Raised stage, no smaller than 8 X 15 feet and 2 feet tall.
Steps, with hand rail, to get JJ on and off stage.

Long banquet table, covered with WHITE linen
Laptop computer for assistant to cue slides from (onstage)
CD player for assistant to play music cues from (onstage)
2 microphones
2 mic stands with booms
2 chairs
Projection screen
Wireless microphone (held by your staff member) for audience's questions.
Operator with video camera, for close-ups of JJP's hands,
for demonstration of creating tape loops (Projected on screen)
Adequate sound system and sound engineer.
Lighting system and technician to run lighting cues.
1 chilled Diet Coke on table for JJP.
